The first tutorial involved displaying a counter of how many times the first 30 frames have been passed through, and getting it to go to a different frame when it has repeated a certain amount of times.
As well as going through the tutorial, I attempted some of the optional things in the “some suggestions to try on your own” section of the tutorial. Since it was the first tutorial the optional things were very easy to put into effect. The header text is different and a second text area I also added to practice.
With this, in a game environment, information can be displayed on the screen and can be changed easily. Moving to a different frame will also be useful, as it lets you move from a start menu to the game when the user clicks a button, and vice versa.
I have uploaded the flash file here to show it working.
